Registered Massage Therapist | B.Sc | Focusing on Swedish Deep Tissue Massage, Hot Stone and Acupuncture | I’d move the Earth for you (she/her)
As the founder of Renaissance Massage Therapy Clinic & Spa, Natalie’s mission is focused on creating happy and healthy clients who can receive hands-on relief and amazing aesthetics while feeling right at home.
Because she believes in putting the customer first, Natalie has built her business by providing excellent massage therapy - both by her own hands and through the hands of her highly-qualified and compassionate associates.
A graduate of D’Arcy Lane Institute (1999), Natalie also holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Western University (2003). These complementary credentials allow her to understand the body’s processes and complexities all the way down to a cellular level.
Through her years of practice, Natalie has also focused on growing her knowledge of the issues of the body and the therapies to address them. Specifically, she’s focused on acupuncture, hot stone, kinesio taping and deep tissue massage.
While she sees a wide variety of clients, she has welcomed the challenge of providing relief to those suffering from adhesive capsulitis (frozen shoulder syndrome), carpal tunnel and various issues of mobility in the back and neck.
When clients see Natalie, they can expect a massage experience that goes ‘deep’ but always stays within their level of comfort.
Registered Massage Therapist | Focusing on TMJ |
I live to make people happier and healthier, as much as I can, every day (she/her)
Corinna is passionate about helping those with disorders of the jaw and voice and she approaches her work from the standpoint of empathy and compassion. In fact, it’s the osteoarthritis in her own jaw and the symptoms that followed that compelled Corinna to both seek treatment and undergo additional study in massage therapy for TMJD, under the mentorship of John Corry, RMT, a renowned teacher within the practice of TMJD massage therapy.
Over the years, Corinna has served as John’s teaching assistant and mentee, which has kept her up-to-date with the latest massage techniques for helping to treat TMJD: techniques she brings to Renaissance (and bonus, she’s also trained in massage therapy for laryngeal hyoid too!).
If you’ve been diagnosed with temporomandibular joint disorder (TMJD), you’re likely already familiar with how it can negatively impact your life. However, if you’re simply suspecting that something could be out of alignment with your jaw, you may want to pay attention to symptoms such as:
Grinding and clenching (e.g. perhaps your dentist has brought this to your attention).
Experiencing more cavities or are more prone to broken teeth
Hearing a clicking sound from your jaw when you’re eating or talking
Additionally, these can also be symptoms associated with (but not exclusive to) TMJD:
dry or watery eyes
Increased sinus discomfort
Ringing in the ears
Feeling of fullness or plugged ears
Walking through life in a fog/lack of concentration.
Neck and shoulder pain
Increased headaches/migraines
Not being able to fully open mouth
If any of the above sounds familiar, then you may want to come and see Corinna to learn how massage therapy may be useful in helping you to manage your symptoms and providing ongoing management.
An integral part of the Renaissance Massage Therapy Clinic & Spa family since she graduated from D’Arcy Lane Institute in 2008, Corinna brings a warm but direct approach to clients. She understands that massage therapy is not just a physical practice but an emotional process as well. When it comes to a client’s preference to have a friendly conversation or peaceful silence throughout the appointment, Corinna is flexible, non-judgmental and tuned into clients’ emotional cues.

I empower you with information to own your healing and your health, so you can live a functional and pain free life.
You live in your body 24/7. As a massage therapist, Ariana wants you to maximize every moment by helping you to function and feel your absolute best. That’s why her approach is heavily centred on offering holistic treatment and easy-to-follow education to her clients.
What does this mean in practice?
Take the example of chronic headaches, which is a common complaint among clients who come to Ariana for massage therapy.
The truth is, many clients are not aware that the headaches or migraines that they’re experiencing can actually be influenced by temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMJD). The jaw’s distinct influence over one’s function is actually the reason why Ariana has also received additional training via the TMJD Mastery course, taught by John Corry, RMT. With the techniques she has gleaned from this study, she is able to provide a wider range of therapeutic massage for clients who are suffering from symptoms that they may not even realize is related to their temporomandibular joint.
This is just one example of how the body’s systems and parts are working (or not working well) together to form a whole. And by providing holistic massage therapy, Ariana aims to ensure that your treatment addresses the root of any issue you may be experiencing. And yes - this means issues relating to the aches and pains of pregnancy as well, as Ariana also offers prenatal massage!
No matter what’s going on with your body, you can expect that the kick off of each visit will be a time to share how you’re feeling and what your goals are for today and the years to come. With Ariana, you’ll never be rushed, and always feel heard and understood.
Then, at the end of each treatment, she’ll spend a few minutes debriefing you on what was discovered during the massage, as well as give you tips on how to restore your body’s function through techniques such as through continued gentle exercise, stretching, and self-care measures at home.
You own your health, and Ariana’s goal is to empower you with the knowledge and information, so you can make your own choices.
When you see Ariana, you’ll always feel informed and supported.

A calm partner in your journey towards experiencing relief and comfort in your own skin
Rowan’s passion for massage therapy stems from a deep desire to help others experience relief and a sense of empowerment over the experience they have in their own bodies.
As someone who bore-witness to family members experiencing chronic pain, she knows how powerful and transformational it can be for the individual when they’re encouraged to partner with their healthcare practitioners.
So, that’s exactly what Rowan strives to become with all of her clients: a partner in their health and wellbeing.
For Rowan, there’s nothing more rewarding than knowing that her clients are feeling better after a session. And although she’s building a reputation as a therapist with great intuition, Rowan still encourages all of her clients to provide ongoing feedback during your treatment. It’s her aspiration to ensure that the service you receive is the one that you had hoped for: and always leaves you feeling better.
Calm and quiet, Rowan knows that clients who seek treatment are there for relief and relaxation, and so she also encourages you to speak as little or as much as you’d like.

I help you manage discomfort/pain, have agency over your health and develop a more conscious relationship with your body
A practitioner of Swedish massage, as well as myofascial work, Melodie takes deep pride in being able to facilitate her clients’ healing process. For every visit, her goal is to empower you with knowledge and techniques that can help you gain better strength, range of motion and reduce pain.
At each treatment you can expect to begin with an assessment where you will discuss your goals and issues, and end with learning more about what is happening in your body, as well as what you can do to continue the healing process at home.
As the only massage therapist at Renaissance (currently) who also performs myofascial massage, Melodie is able to help address myofascial restrictions that may be resistant (or not responding) to Swedish massage and/or stretching.
For those who do not know, the fascia (which is the focus of myofascial massage), is the connective tissue that runs throughout your whole body. Many are surprised to learn that you can have tight fascia and loose muscles. Myofascial massage aims to tackle the restrictions that can follow a ‘line of stress,’ such as those created through posture, and repetitive motions (to name a few). A fascial assessment is similar to the assessment done at the start of any massage therapy session, however, the massage itself differs in pressure and speed, favouring slower motion and pressure aimed at the fascial level.
For Melodie, one of the most powerful benefits of massage therapy is how it fosters a sense of awareness over your own body. By helping to bring (sometimes hidden) dysfunction into focus, it naturally helps you to understand how you can help to heal yourself too.
Through her investigative and healing work, Melodie will empower you with the knowledge to understand what’s happening, and vocabulary to communicate with any other health practitioners you may work with, so you can be your own biggest and best advocate.
Friendly, calm, knowledgeable and understanding, Melodie is passionate about helping you be and feel your best.

I have strong hands and an open heart, offering you a safe space for healing
If you’ve been holding pain but are feeling hesitant to dive into massage therapy, Jessica is here to put you at ease.
With a distinct understanding of anatomy, as well as how the body holds both physical and emotional trauma, Jessica’s goal is to create a safe space for clients.
Through her initial assessment, as well as through the massage process itself, Jessica is able to pinpoint issues and where they originate from: key information that she relays back to her clients, so that you will always know what is going on in your body, why it’s happening, and how you can be empowered to help heal it too.
Intentional, mellow, and methodical, Jessica is known for her physical strength in providing deep tissue massage, as well as her emotional softness (not to mention her eclectic fashion sense!).
And while she’s keen to help anyone seeking massage therapy (according to her, the more broken the better!) Jessica can often be found working on people facing issues with their neck, hips, and shoulders. Additionally, she has also found that those who have faced trauma find particular comfort and benefit in working with her.
So consider this your invitation to come as you are, and leave feeling better.

I help to heal, foster a sense of wholeness, and help you reconnect with your mind and body through massage therapy
Alexandra is a massage therapist with deep empathy and healing hands. A talented practitioner of Swedish massage, she welcomes all bodies and ailments to her table.
A believer in the deeply human need for healing touch, she enjoys providing massage therapy to those of all ages and abilities, and regularly treats clients as young as three, all the way up to seniors in their golden years.
Plus, as a mother of three and an athlete, she’s also passionate about treating pregnant, post-partum, and athletic people too.
For those who are at any stage of pregnancy or postpartum, Alexandra ensures that you are safe, comfortable, and treated with empathy. During the course of motherhood, your body goes through so many miraculous changes and challenges (which can, unfortunately, come with new aches and pains too).
Not only does Alexandra hold a pregnancy massage therapy certificate, she’s a mom of three children, who has experienced three unique births, and is familiar with the demands of balancing a busy household and a career. So, during your time together, Alexandra’s aim is to offer a safe, healing and empathetic massage therapy experience that meets you where you are.
And while they’re not often thought of as frequently for massage therapy, Alexandra holds a special place in her heart for treating kids. Just like their older counterparts, children feel deep aches and pains, often related to growing pains, and/or the demands of extracurricular sports and activities, which can cause stress on their muscle tissue.
If you are a parent who is interested in assessing whether massage is a good option for your child, Alexandra invites you to begin with a shorter session (e.g. 30 minutes). During this time, parents can be present in the room, and the child is encouraged to ‘be the boss’ over the atmosphere of the room (lights, music, etc), and of course - over the direction of the massage treatment too. This time is meant to be a safe introduction to massage therapy, with parents and children in the drivers’ seat.
No matter who you are, whether you identify as young, old, athletic (or not!), are managing the stresses of pregnancy, postpartum, or simply just ‘life,’ Alexandra is here to help you meet your goals for how you want to feel and live in your body.

Esthetic Spa Therapist and Reflexologist (she/her)
I help you to feel beautiful, refreshed and relaxed, inside and out
For over 20 years, Lisa has been helping clients to destress while helping them look and feel their best.
A natural “people person” with a calm demeanour, Lisa has a reputation for being a natural conversationalist who creates meaningful connections with her clients.
From pedicures, manicures and facials, to waxing and body wraps, Lisa offers a full gamut of services. However, this multi-talented aesthetician also has a unique speciality as a skilled reflexologist too.
More than just an amazing foot rub (although it is that too!), Reflexology is based on the theory that zones on your feet are linked to every part of your body. Through massaging these reflex points, Lisa can help you to relieve stress as well as address many issues throughout the body.
While Reflexology is suitable for anyone who wishes to relieve stress, Lisa has found that many of her clients who face chronic illnesses tend to be attracted to, as well as find tangible relief from this relaxing treatment.
As an added bonus, Reflexology can be combined with other beautifying treatments, such as pedicures, so not only will you be more relaxed - you’ll leave with softer skin, fresh cuticles, and newly polished nails too.
A believer that true beauty comes from what lies within each and every one of us, Lisa is a true gem who is a pleasure to work with. Come on in to see her to learn how you can find relief and relaxation, and uncover a more refreshed you in the process.

Spa Assistant | Office Manager (she/her)
I’m your massage therapy and spa service guide, and the curator of amazing client experiences
Whether you call in, email, or simply walk through the door, chances are that the first friendly person you’ll encounter at Renaissance is Cydney.
As the Office Manager and Spa Assistant, Cydney is that magical combination of knowledgeable, kind and direct (with a dash of humour added in for good measure).
Having started at Renaissance in 2019, not only is she a wealth of information on insurance and billings, she’s well-versed in all the business’s areas, and can help you navigate any questions, concerns or queries you may have.
For instance, on the massage therapy side, she can help you assess which massage style and which therapist could be the best fit for you, depending on the issues you need addressed as well as, vibe, and intensity that you’re looking to match with.
For aesthetics and spa services, Cydney can also help you choose which spa treatment may be best for your unique needs, and/or help arrange an in-person consult with the aestheticians, so you have a chance to get an assessment before a service.
And while there are a myriad of ways in which you may encounter Cydney around the spa, some of her most powerful work is done where you’d never see her at all: As she’s the one who helps to curate custom experiences that make your spa or massage treatment (or package!) truly magical. From setting the vibe with the right music, to ensuring that the snacks are aplenty and the drinks are flowing, Cydney does it all.
